How to make a caramel fortune cookie

Its taken me a wile to post on how to make these because I didnt want the post to look bleh lol. Since we had packed our stuff when we thought we were going to move my kitchen supplies are low until I unpack those boxes. <- major bummer haha.

Anywho yesterday my friend Erin invited me to a BBQ and I thought I’d give it another go and make these for everyone that went! Here’s my lil guy at the BBQ it was late and he wasnt really having being there, but he’s a happy baby!

So onto those cookies!

First you start with a soft caramel, lay down plastic wrap these things stick to everything but that.

Smoosh it a bit before rolling it makes it easier. I didnt have a rolling pin (another boxed item) so I used a can. If your going to use a can lol wrap it in plastic wrap so it wont stick and make sure you do the smoosh process because I forgot once and even it being a soft caramel it dented the can lol.

Roll it out! The side being rolled has grooves but the other side is nice and smooth so I didnt worry about how it looked just yet

Find something to cut out a perfect circle. ALL my cookie cutters yet again were boxed up so I improvised using the top to one of my kiddo’s bottles lol

I pulled the edges up from around it to leave a nice circle

Tara! CUTENESS!

Start to fold over once

Insert fortune, mine said eat me lol I couldnt think of anything on the spot

Then fold once more to make this

I used some of the plastic wrap I rolled them out onto for the wrapper

And there you have caramel fortune cookies

MY LIFE UPDATE: My mirena is doing awesome! Hubby and I are making plans for moving back home, its 4 months away but we want to be prepared! I just got paid $100 for doing a survey that honestly was fun lol cant tell details about it but wow it was a surprise! I think I’m going to Target and Babies R Us to have a spending spree day

London’s training is going great! She’s been loose inside and has been doing amazing with the exception of one poopey accident, it was expected but one in all this time is pretty good! She also now stays by your side even wile loose outside. We take the dogs out with us and sit out there wile they play, she responds to her name and knows the word “no” ad “come” now! I’m so proud of her!
